Sarratt Green

Sarratt Parish Council (as the qualifying body) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP), entitled “Sarratt Parish Neighbourhood Plan”, for their Parish with the help of the local community. The NDP sets out a vision for the future of the Parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally. We are seeking your views on the planning policies contained within the NDP.

The consultation will run for a six week period from Tuesday 27 June 2023 until Tuesday 8 August 2023.

At the end of the consultation period, the NDP will be submitted to an independent examiner together with representations received by the deadline and a summary of the main issues raised in the representations.

All representations must be received by the Council by 5pm Tuesday 8 August 2023.

Representations may be accompanied by a request to be notified of the Local Planning Authority’s decision under regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in relation to the Sarratt Neighbourhood Development Plan.

You can view the Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents in the document tab on the right hand side.

Representations on the Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan can also be made in writing to:

Planning Policy and Conservation, Three Rivers District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, WD3 1RL

Contributions to this consultation are closed. The independent Examination of the Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan is currently underway. The Council, in agreement with Sarratt Parish Council, has appointed Ann Skippers to carry out the Examination.
On 12 September 2023, the Examiner sent a letter setting out Questions of Clarification and Note of Interim Findings to Sarratt Parish Council and Three Rivers District Council. The Councils are currently preparing a response to the Inspector’s letter.
