Sarratt Parish Council (as the qualifying body) prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP), entitled “Sarratt Neighbourhood Development Plan” which sets out a vision for the future of the Parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.
The Sarratt NDP was consulted under the Regulation 16 between Tuesday 27 June 2023 until Tuesday 8 August 2023, following which the Council, in agreement with Sarratt Parish Council appointed an independent examiner to carry out the examination. The examiner paused the examination and asked for some of the supporting documents to be updated and re-consulted. The second Regulation 16 Consultation ran from Tuesday 23 July until Wednesday 11th September 2024. Following this consultation, the examiner resumed the examination. However, following further updates to the plan and associated documents as suggested by the examiner, the examination was paused, and the Neighbourhood Plan and associated documents are subject to a further Regulation 16 Consultation before the examination can reconvene. The third Regulation 16 Consultation will run from 28 February to 13 April 2025.
We are therefore seeking your views on the updated documents which seek to provide a more robust justification for the policies in the Neighbourhood Plan.
Representations may be accompanied by a request to be notified of the Local Planning Authority’s decision under regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in relation to the Sarratt Neighbourhood Development Plan.
You can view the Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan and updated documents in the document tab on the right hand side.
Representations on the Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan can also be made in writing to: Planning Policy and Conservation, Three Rivers District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, WD3 1RL
