Three Rivers is a great place to play!
Children and young people should have easy access to high quality play spaces within their local community. Successful play spaces are those co- designed by children, their families and the community groups who work with them.
Three Rivers District Council is committed to ensuring that local communities have opportunities to share their ideas and express their opinions on their play space and any proposals to change them.
We want to hear from adults across the district that use our many play areas to tell us what you like and don’t like.
This consultation will include the opportunity to share your views on play areas within the district, what equipment you like and dislike in local play spaces as well as the opportunity to comment on the draft Play Strategy. You can view the draft Play Strategy and examples of types of play spaces under the documents section on the right hand side.
We will also be consulting with young people in schools who will be encouraged to consider natural play features, sustainability and how they may interact and play with others.
