Sarratt Parish Council (as the qualifying body) prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP), entitled “Sarratt Neighbourhood Development Plan” which sets out a vision for the future of the Parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.
The Sarratt NDP was consulted under the Regulation 16 between Tuesday 27 June 2023 until Tuesday 8 August 2023, following which the Council, in agreement with Sarratt Parish Council appointed an independent examiner to carry out the examination. The examiner paused the examination and asked for some of the supporting documents to be updated and re-consulted. We are therefore seeking your views on the updated documents which seek to provide a more robust justification for the policies in the Neighbourhood Plan.
This consultation will run for a six-week period from Tuesday 23 July until Monday 2 September 2024.
At the end of the consultation period updated documents will be submitted to the examiner together with representations received by the deadline and a summary of the main issues raised in the representations. The examiner will then resume the examination.
“This consultation has been extended until 5 pm, Wednesday, 11th September, 2024 at the request of the Examiner”
Representations may be accompanied by a request to be notified of the Local Planning Authority’s decision under regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in relation to the Sarratt Neighbourhood Development Plan.
You can view the Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan and updated documents in the document tab on the right hand side.
Representations on the Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan can also be made in writing to: Planning Policy and Conservation, Three Rivers District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, WD3 1RL
