As a result of inflationary pressures and to ensure that the licensing service is not impacted, all discretionary licensing fees and charges have been increased. These fees relate to taxi licensing, scrap metal, sexual entertainment and street trading.

As a result of the changes proposed the council is interested in seeking your views on the changes via a public consultation.

The proposed fees can be viewed under the Important Links section on this project page.

Subject to comments received and their review, all fees will come into effect from 1 April 2025.
