Three Rivers District Council Transport and Parking Team are conducting a formal consultation into proposed alterations to the existing parking restrictions at Ferry Carpark, Lower Road, Chorleywood.
The general effect of the order would be to introduce:
New short stay restrictions in the indicated bays in Ferry Carpark, Chorleywood (max 4 hour stay)
New Long stay restrictions in the indicated bays in Ferry Carpark, Chorleywood (max 24 hour stay)
Implement pay at meter controls
The ‘long stay’ bays will also be usable for business permit holders and for periods shorter than 4 hours to provide greater flexibility for visitors. Short stay bays would be demarcated with signage indicating up to 4 hours is permitted.
This proposal also includes adding to the original Order the Talbot Road car park, Rickmansworth where resident and business parking is already allowed and this is not an change to the current parking restrictions.
