Three Rivers District Council declared a Climate Emergency in 2019 and developed a Climate Emergency and Sustainability Strategy in 2021 to reduce our own emissions to net-zero by 2030, and achieve net-zero carbon by 2045 for the District.
Following the development of the 2021 strategy, a consultation was undertaken to receive feedback and comments which were integrated into the final strategy.
The strategy has now been updated again following this consultation, and has been approved by the council. You can see the new strategy under the documents section of the right hand side of this page.
