Three Rivers District Council wants your views on proposed Beryl Bikes Bays across Three Rivers District.
Beryl Bikes is a shared bike scheme which currently operates across Watford, Bushey and Croxley Green. The scheme allows users to hire a pedal bike or e-bike to ride between pre-determined bay locations. The scheme is operated by Smidsy Ltd (trading as Beryl). The bikes can be unlocked through an app and their use is charged per-minute, daily, or through a variety of prepaid riding passes. For more information on how Beryl Bikes operate please visit beryl.cc
In 2025, the council agreed an expansion of Beryl Bikes into three new areas including Rickmansworth, Leavesden and South Oxhey. Bikes in these new areas can be used in conjunction with the bays across Croxley Green, Watford and Bushey. The council has supported the development of proposed bay locations in the new areas alongside reviewing the existing bays in Croxley Green.
